I am so clumsy and perspire profusely while running with my iPhone and run monster. I haven't figured out the best way of doing the iJog. Any tips from the community?
I just take the phone in one hand, keeping it there for the run (I often run without music, just audiofeedback). Really nice would be to also detect the "shaking" via the acceleometer and to match the track-length with the number of steps you made. So stepcounting through accelerometer. This would be such a great feature!
You need a tight fitting running top, with a secure pocket (prefer zip) in the lower back. You then just start the app and then pop it in the pocket and off you go running. Because its held in the lower back and your top is not baggy, then your iPhone wont bounce around and you won't know its there - unlike an arm band which can nip after a while. Just make you're playing music as well, else you'll keep having to check your iPhone is still there.

It works well enough, but it pinched my arm enough every time I put it on that I gave it up altogether.
If you want to give the armband a shot, though, I've also heard good things about the Tuneband:
