OK so ive sent emails... posted to the forum 2 months ago... deleted app and reloaded it and it still sux! Loses my place - calls out wrong distance, time and speed... and basically you've offered no support to remedy. You shouldn't charge for an app unless you plan to support it!

I upgraded to PRO 3 workouts ago and none of my routes, speeds, etc are correct. the voice that provides status during the workout seems to be close when it comes to the mile announcements but the time is way off - ranging from 4 min miles to 16 mile miles! I've closed the app and restarted many times so I need something else. should I delete and re-install?

I've really enjoyed RunMonster for both trail running and mountain biking. One thing that would make the app more useful would be the ability to use the app to re-locate trails or key points on a route. For example, if I find a new trail I'd like to ride again (or a branch off of a route I know), it would be excellent to be able to add a waypoint so that next time I'm out in the forest, RunMonster can help me find that spot again. I know that navigation is stretching a bit outside RunMonster's purpose, but even a simple option to see my present location relative to previously recorded routes would be very helpful.

I tried "Runmoster Free" which is really easy to do. Especially the startup "Start new workout" is easy. But when I put the phone in my pocket it kept the screen lighted and also the controls could accidentially be hit while sliding the phone in the pocket.

During my run I wanted to check the actual values (km/time) and let the phone slide back in the pocket after some time. At home I found out that exactly at this moment I must have hit accidentially the pause workout button. very bad!

Why do you not use the "Proximity Sensor" to disable just the screen? Why not provide a screen-lock-feature which disables accidential taps? If this feature is built in I will for sure buy the PRO app. I especially liked the map view of my track to see where I went running.

Great App, but please let me know if the features do exist or are available in the PRO version.

thanks,
Helge

I am trying to email a workout from RunMonster pro. The message composes fine and looks ok, but the version sent by mail is devoid of any data. No body text or attachments. Given that the only way to extract route information is to send it via email, this lack of functionality is rather crippling.

Over the past few weeks, Runmonster has been crashing regularly, including sometimes not even starting the clock when I do "New workout". Also, my speed is not changing when I speed up or slow done on my run (or changes extremely slowly).
Until then, no problems. This is one of my favorite app!

…I once was a really cheerful user of runmonster pro. But on my iPhone 3GS (which I use for running) the App simply fails to track the route correctly, it also nearly everytime crashes when I get a phonecall while running (after dismissing the phonecall the app just behaves "crazy"), and the audio-feedback while running nearly every time fails, too (only parts of the audio can be heard, some numbers are just missing while the speaker speaks the audio).

Can you guys please, please, please fix these things? I am even willing to pay for fixing this, money is not the issue here. I mean I am an app developer myself, but having to accept crashes is not in my genes. I would even be willing to help you betatest it and fix it.

Also since I suggested help for bringing this app to german language nothing happened. I could easily help you provide NSLocalizedStrings for german. This is such a nice app. Why don't you care about it any longer (no update & fixes in months)? I started using "Runmeter" just because runmonster fails in doing what its made for: tracking my run.

send me an emal at helge@noxymo.com if you need more info.

Helge

I think I mentioned this before but I'd like to mention it again after having noticed some other apps do it. It becomes hard to distinguish what the voiceover is saying if you have your music at a high volume. Is there a way for you to pause or mute the musig when voiceovers are playing?
